In purely technical and functional terms, our "Metallic" refined ultrasonic toothbrushes are in no way inferior to the models in the Platinum series.They also work with a multi-frequency of up to 96 million vibrations per minute. As a result, they clean the teeth thoroughly and free them from plaque and deposits in a clearly noticeable way. Harmful bacteria are reduced without attacking the enamel. When used twice a day for 3 minutes each time, the battery life is up to 12 days. The vibration can be switched off in a few simple steps and switched on again just as easily. Damage to teeth, enamel or gums is not to be feared by using our emmi^®-dent ultrasonic toothbrushes. Ultrasound for tooth cleaning is not harmful! The ultrasound transmitter, which is equipped with a piezo chip, has been integrated into the brush head of the ultrasonic toothbrush. It generates ultrasound waves with a medical-therapeutic ultrasound frequency of 1.6 Mhz .The frequency range of 1.6 MHz is so low that it is not perceptible to the human senses.

Our patented emmi^®-dent piezo ceramic disc ensures that the ultrasonic waves generated by the piezo chip are guided into our special emmi^®-dent ultrasonic toothpaste. Our ultrasonic toothpastes have been enriched with microbubbles. When ultrasonic waves with a speed of up to 96 million air vibrations per minute hit the microbubbles, they destroy their structure. This process triggers a suction effect. Biofilm and deposits such as plaques are noticeably removed cleanly.

The functionality of our emmi^®-dent ultrasonic toothbrushes was tested in a clinical study by the University of Witten/Herdecke. Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. P. Gängler, as managing director of the oral medical institute, evaluated the test of our emmi^®-dent ultrasonic toothbrushes in the following words: "Tooth cleaning by means of ultrasound and without brush movement removes plaque and biofilm safely and thoroughly.
