In local public transport (ÖPNV) and when shopping or wherever it is difficult to keep the minimum distance, it is recommended to wear a so-called everyday mask. A temporary mask can help to protect others from infection.

The general hygiene measures such as thorough hand washing are of course still very important. To protect other people, you can now buy the mouth-nose mask online from emmi^®-dent.

Our face masks are also used in the medical field and have the following features:

• tight fitting, adapts easily to all face shapes
• suitable for single use
• For protection against particles according to standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009, protection class FFP2 NR

Fit of the mask:
Press the nose clip firmly against the nose to ensure a tight fit. Check the tight fit of the mask with a breath test. The mask must be sucked noticeably against the face when inhaled.
If air enters the mask around the nose, correct the fit using the nose clip. If the fit of the mask is generally too loose, twist the earbands 180° in a figure of eight.

The mask should be changed as soon as ...
...the mask is no longer leak-proof, e.g. due to a hole, or if the mask no longer fits tightly after long periods of use.

...the air resistance increases noticeably if the mask is soaked, e.g. through contamination.

Possible problems:
It is unlikely that the leakage requirements will be met if facial hair is located between the seal line of the mask and the face. The mask provides protection against particles, there is no protection against gaseous substances. ensure that the air is of sufficient quality in terms of (gaseous) impurities and oxygen content; do not use in explosive atmospheres. if the mask is damaged, please do not use it again. If the mask does not fit tightly (see Seat of the mask), no sufficient protective effect can be guaranteed. Only put on the mask with clean hands to avoid contamination. The mask does not protect against dolomite dust.

Application period:
The mask is intended for use for one shift (approx. 8 hours) under normal use. The mask is suitable for single use only.

Placing and removing the mask:
Open the mask with the nose clip at the top and place it over your mouth and nose.
The edge must rain with the nose clip on the bridge of the nose ! Align the mask and press the nose clip against the bridge of your nose. Put the earbands on both sides over your ears. Check that the mask is tight.To remove the mask, pull the ear straps forward over the ears. The outside of the mask may be contaminated with aerosol. Avoid contact.
